... the water! The instructor helped us get on the boards and gave us a push at the right time to catch the wave and it was our job to just stand up! I managed to just about stand up on the first wave I caught and Luke wasn’t far behind. It was a tough morning battling against the waves and trying our hardest to balance on a bit of polystyrene in the ocean but it was awesome fun. We just need a lot of practice now!

It was also a special time for Lol and Rhod as they both celebrated their birthdays. Being so far away from home it was nice to spend this time with family.
