Viva Las Vegas

A travel blog entry by skjonnemand

Rather cold when we woke up this morning. Had breakfast in the RV and then went for a walk. Saw the beautiful spring fed swimming pool which was warm enough to swim in. Also visited the golf course which is 190 feet below sea level.

Furnace Creek is supposed to be one of the hottest places on earth in the summer months with recorded …

A domestic flight today to LA to pick up the RV. Lots of paperwork and the joy of seeing our home for the next 3 weeks. Its great! Love the RV. Now for the 4 hour drive to Vegas for some gambling.

Between the flights to LA and the drive we were knackered when we got to the bright lights of Vegas. We got safely set up around 23:00 The RV …

After this we continued to drive through Death Valley national park towards Las Vegas. Filled up with petrol in a place …

we stayed two nights at the RV park. It is a car-park at the back of Circus Circus with good facilities. It does not claim to be anything it is not and the staff were extremely helpful. We would definitely stay there again
