Viva Las Vegas

Rather cold when we woke up this morning. Had breakfast in the RV and then went for a walk. Saw the beautiful spring fed swimming pool which was warm enough to swim in. Also visited the golf course which is 190 feet below sea level.

After breakfast, I decided to explore the City Center Fine Art Collection. There's even an app for it (of course). The collection includes some very well known artists (Maya Lin, Claes Oldenburg, Frank Stella, Henry Moore). It took about two hours to visit it all. So, we took the bus to its terminal....which was in the middle of nowhere. The Strip was a mere glimmer in the distance. The place was dead; not a hint of a taxi or the possibility of one before sunrise ...

we stayed two nights at the RV park. It is a car-park at the back of Circus Circus with good facilities. It does not claim to be anything it is not and the staff were extremely helpful. We would definitely stay there again
