Monday, July 6, 2015. PCT day 78 miles 1189.2-1198 Today is a nero day. I slept in until 06:30 and left camp by 0730. The trail was all downhill, 8.5 miles into Sierra City, which is at 4200 feet elevation. It definitely felt warmer/hotter down here. I arrived here by 11:30ish. The small town is only about a mile from the trail. I set up camp by the local church. I had my cold shower ...

MC Hobo was not even gonna head out today, but tomorrow. The trail provides indeed. Before I left the hotel, ...

... memory, which I was suspecting, but found about very quickly into the trip. It required modifying a lot of what we did. but over all she was game. Blaire was a quiet trooper and the trip and having here on the trip was indeed a pleasure. I would travel with her again. I could not have climbed to the top of the hill if not for her patience in waiting for me when I slowed down. It was a good trip and I hope it did for my Mom what she wanted it to ...

1:10 am. Nearly packed. Had a fun time at the FFA AG Boosters dinner. The group put on a great dinner, silent/live auction. I was a bit team member for this. Next year I hope to help more. Blaire and I took about 2 hours to pack our bags. But not before the ...
