... to the resort furtherst away from the pier. After 20 minutes - we are soaked in sweat by now, we reach the tropical garden resort and it turns out that it was well worth the effort. simple but lovely bungalows surrounded by lush gardens and rocks with a pool and a bar in the centre. we spend the rest of the day chillin.. :-)

... just several equally impressive lagoons hidden from the sea. It's 200 baht (Ł4) to come ashore but that's pretty reasonable, especially as National Trust places charge about a tenner to see some gardens etc. We spent the rest of the morning circling the island finding more and more of these hidden lagoons to snorkel, swim and chill in.
