    Home Sweet Home

Well, the trip is over. I'm currently on the plane flying to Denver and I've been awake for about 21 hours and it's all been spent on planes and such. What a trip. I'm exhausted but I'm also so happy. I know that everything I experienced through the whole thing was for my good. Heavenly Father knows what each of us ...

We were woken up early because it was Christmas morning. I went upstairs and saw what I had in my stocking. I got some lip balm, a scarf, a Starbucks card and some chocolates. Then after breakfast we went to open our other gifts, I got a magazine subscription, a hair straightener, a pandora bead and an iTunes voucher. Then I went on a walk with Mum ...

Arrived well on time for our flight to Tokyo departing on time 12:35 pm. The plane is very nice on the inside, the windows are larger and have adjustable tint. Each seat has a large TV screen, a touch screen, with instructions in different languages, even in Dutch! The Dreamliner has lower cabin altitude, it feels like 6,000 ft versus 8,000 ft on other planes. This allows for in increased oxygen absorption which ...

... Of course, the highlight of our day was seeing our Uncle Jack, Aunt Elaine, and cousin Rena. They met us at Stacks and Steak for breakfast. At first I was afraid I would not recognize them but that simply was not the case. We greeted each other with hugs and enjoyed breakfast as any family would. I just wish my dad had been with us. I think we overwhelmed our family with excited ramblings of our father and our present lives. As I said at the end ...

... Indian food, learn to. Almost every restaurant that caters to tourists had at least something like a pasta dish, but you really don't want to go to India and live on pasta. In five weeks we had one pizza, Fred had one really delicious pasta dish, and we never got tired of the food.

We are home, 12 and a half hours behind India ( they are a half hour different than the rest of the world- its fits perfectly) and feeling stunned, What a trip!
