      I ended up leaving in the middle of the day on Sunday, because I wanted to be really close to the airport. It turned out to be a great idea because the highway was being worked on - I'm not sure I would have gotten there in time! I found a hotel that allows you to leave your car there, AND has a "DELUXE" breakfast. It was more deluxe than a bagel. Eggs and oatmeal means deluxe as far as I'm concerned. Thank you, hotel. ...

      Up early to walk downtown to our respective stations, today we will spend with the men and women of the British Columbian Ambulance Service. Phip and I were at the same station, we arrived just before start time and were met by Andrew and Tom, I would be riding with them today, Phip was attached to the 0730 crew and would start then.
