... almost two hours, while we sipped our beer or juice and nibbled on the bouchons and nuts. We also took time to walk around the house, look at the garden, check out the chickens of several different varieties and continued talking.

... 8211; it sounds nicer in French…) gorge. The river tumbles through lush forest on its way to the ocean. I thought it would make a wonderful picnic site, but Jocelyn responded that Mauritians rarely picnic anywhere but on the beach by the ocean.

Back at their home we wrapped up our talk over a cup of coffee and I took my leave. If all goes as planned I should be back to visit them in late July, hopefully with my wife this time.

... I was contemplating away and the waiter came and lit a candle, gave me peanuts, and a side of delicious Hors d'oeuvre. One was tuna on a light and fluffy cracker. Two others were a piece of meat in a light curry sauce.

I arrived after my 4 hour flight from Johannesburg, South Africa a little relieved not to be hit with the usual summer humidity I've come to know (I usually come in December over Christmas - middle of scorching summer) and once transported back home by my dad who's looking so healthy and well I took a long sleep to recuperate from the last few party days in Joburg.

... the day they had Soccer, and Dodgeball and Vollyball for everyone to participate in, and for dinner they threw a huge BBQ on the 7th deck with Ribs and Chicken. During the night they had karaoke, which I sang “Bad Touch” by bloodhound gang in front of too much of an audience. But it was a fantastic day non-the-less, and it worked even better that they gave us this amazing day of fun in addition to 4 hours in port.
