... the tail end of the poolside service just before 6:00. We had a wonderful fillet of grouper with raw vegetable salad and pommes frites (which sound so much classier than French fries…).

After having seen the sunrise over the ocean from Mahébourg this morning, we enjoyed seeing the sunset over the ocean on the other side of the island in Balaclava.

As we ate, we saw a fashionable young Indian-Mauritian husband ...

... Cumin restaurant for dinner but unfortunately this is also a buffet and I did not find anything really to my liking there. At least we are all inclusive so can sit in the bar and have their rather nice cocktails while a singer and band "entertains". We have also surprisingly found they have some decent wines.

Whether we shall get off our bottoms and explore we shall see but it is so hot and humid it really saps the energy. I fear that lifting a glass is all the exercise we shall ...

... we are off for Italian tonight at Sapori where our waiter Ittoo has reserved us a spot next to the dancefloor, what must be highlighted is the live entertainment programme produced every night at no extra charge. There is a live band which starts off with gentle jazz while your eat and then at about 21h00 live dancers arrive to perform a 45 minute routine - the content varries each evening. The ...
