... at the Cherokee Reservation. It is very commercialised, lots of tourist shops, motels and the casino. We were dropped in downtown Asheville for dinner and went to the Wayside Diner. Finally got to hotel at 8:20pm. Saw the difference of Southern hospitality, they had complimentary cupcakes and cookies and breakfast is included down south. Today was another day of hiking and waterfalls, so we needed to start with a good breakfast. Being Sunday morning, not much was open in Brevard, but we did find one cafe open and serving breakfast. We both had a good meal, and Nadia had 2 cups of coffee! From there we started out in search of waterfalls.

... as Direct Current. When the house was built - It was not clear if -- Edison's direct current design or --- Tesla's alternating current would surface as the best for electrification of the house. The present house uses some of both types of current.
