Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th October 2013 After a leisurely breakfast at 8.00am, we set up camp beside the pool and I read my guidebook to plan our next few days. Other than that, we just melted in the searing heat. As our safari guide took us around, we saw more and more animals, like kudu, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, baboons, and more. ... bricks and NONE OF MINE BROKE. Hallelujah! That afternoon a group of us volunteered for the local Croc Center in St. Lucia. We accompanied Mark, the main croc guy, through the wildlife park where we cleared hiking trails. With our machetes and saws in hand we whacked our way through the forest until we reached the end of the trail at the Indian ocean! It was a beautiful hike and and even more beautiful destination. Awesome afternoon!
