Again the guys went fishing early this morning. I was generally enjoying my sleep-ins and lazy days. After breakfast I went for a walk along the beach. Today started off as another grey, overcast day. It was low tide. There were quite a few cars parked on the beach. I wonder how the guys were going with their fishing. So far, they have not had much …

Sadly we had to leave so packed up camp and left at 8. Leaving through the reserve we saw giraffe, warthogs and the vultures. Didn't get to see crocodile farm even though it was on itinerary. Back to Ubizane Tree Lodge at 2.30, saw Kudu and Impala on drive in. High tea, sweet pastry things. Monkey stole apple off table. Sat on verandah drinking wine, eating chocolate and writing diary, Impala on ...

Shower is in a corrugated enclosure, took ages for water to warm up and it is like a severe water saving head, had to run around under it to get wet. Very rustic but gorgeous to watch sunrise as I was showering. Relaxing morning. Made Jungle porridge for breakfast, no microwave, used gas stove. Axel gave PowerPoint presentation on laptop of Wildlife ACT, animals, park and rules. We were also given jobs with folders I'm the Research Coordinator, so ...
