... had all the bags packed and weighed and final decisions made and were ready to head out on the Great Adventure! Reggie took us to the airport where we both got TSA pre-approved and were able to breeze through the security checkpoint.

Went to find something to eat and got to listen to some great live music in the airport while we ate our meal. Were in the first 55 people to board the plane so we were able to sit together with an aisle seat.

Austin sure is a Fun town. On our way in from Dallas, we stopped at Z Tejas just north of the city. This was Tex Mex at its finest, with warm cornbread, great chips, salsa, and guacamole and everyone had a great meal. Thanks JD for the recommendation. We rolled into the Radisson close to midnight, because we decided to drive around the city, which is centered on the State Capitol Building, the biggest one by far that we've seen on ...

... said he was done with his meeting and ready to meet up for dinner. He picked out a great local, funky Austin joint called Freddie’s Place. It was perfect. We all had a couple of beers, great food, and the best conversation. I have never really had one on one time with my uncle, outside of a little bit at my wedding, so this was fantastic. We talked about our adventure - where we had been, where we were going, and Henry told us about his travels and ...
