Well, summer is over and the fall is giving way to winter!

After leaving Pea Ridge, we headed to our campground in Branson, MO. Almost immediately upon crossing the state line the terrain changed from Ozark mountains to relatively flat farmland...definitely a change from what we've seen the past couple of days. Branson is supposedly a bit like Gatlinburg, TN...a big tourist ...
Beautiful day today about 30C with low humidity, great for my last tour of the area. Today I thought I would take it easy and take a relaxed journey this time. Well, that lasted about two curves and then I poured on the heat :-).

The tour was not too picturesque. Trees when I was in the forest and farms when out. The 'mountains' are not bit or have interesting rock formations so not too many photo's. Of course there is the food shot where I was at a Mexican restaurant built into a hill. I had a Bloody mary because there was no Bavarian beer on tap ;-)

After getting up early to quit the motel and get to McD's to deliver yesterdays blog I had an easy three hour ride to Eureka Springs where I planned to stay for three nights. Not having reservtions (never do) I found this place Sherwood Court Inn where I booked a cabin instead of the usual motel room. Have posted pice for you ladies to check ...
