      ... the Camera Club of Tucson in Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge to photograph the Sandhill Cranes and real snow birds. This will be our fourth year of visiting the Bosque the week after Thanksgiving and weather forecast, at least for the weekend is for temps in 60's.

      However, we know from experience, that the weather can turn quickly so we will monitor the patterns to see when we need to make our exit to Tucson.

      ... we drove around the area and checked out the beach and walked on the pier. What we noted was that the beach sand is very white and very fine, almost like sugar. While on the pier, we saw a couple sea turtles, but no fish or dolphins. We then drove into Fort Walton Beach looking for what they call their historical district, but never found what we would want to get out and ...

      ... in time change. I was so thankful that the time change happened on the drive home though and not on the way to Destin as I had originally thought. We also hit a lot of rain to the point where I could hardly see where I was going. It was bad. I was glad to make it home safe and sound after white knuckling the steering wheel for hours.

      ... lemonade and cookies. We decided to enjoy our picnic on the beach despite the second dose of rain that was imposing on us. We thought if we stayed under the umbrella on the chairs we would be Ok. We found 2 fairly dry chairs and the minute we sat down the rain started to pick up. Jym stole another umbrella from a set of chairs nearby and wedged it into the ground in front of us to block some of the rain. We managed to stay there ...
