I don't really need to tell you what we did do I? Take one part playground, one part beach, and one part sunset and you have a Kramer day in Biarritz.

           

Judy spent the day with Pierre, a former wrestler and French Olympic wresting coach (he went with the team to Atlanta) who she had met on the train ride a few days ...

We spent the morning touring our recently discovered Bayonne with the kids and Judy continued exploring during the afternoon ...

Another lovely beach day was followed by an evening tour by Tom and Sue of nearby Bayonne, the financial center of Bayonne/Anglet/Biarritz. What a cute town!! It has a beautiful 14th century ...

... area was, much much better. We still sucked, really not as easy as we thought it would be, we tried for a good 3 hours, then bailed cause our arms we barely paddling at the end.

... little vaction spot on the coast of Spain. It turned into a big metroplotian really quickly as soon as I got off the train. I exited the train and tried deperatly to try and find my hostel. The instructions were easy and clear but the street names and landmarks were just not adding up. The buildings that they said were there, werenīt. The Mcdonalds that they said was there, was NOT. ... so much time there as it is a spectacular country and some of my most favourite memories come as a result, although also some of the more unfavourable ones. Though I think that the unpleasant aspects just added to the overall experience and definitely make it a time to remember. I definitely received the full package as far as I am concerned! The bus took us up into the spectacular French countryside, it was amazing how fast the scenery changed coming over the border ...

... way. We went shopping (even though we shouldnīt, but we couldnīt help ourselves... there were SO many cute shops!) Then we just ran errands and went to bed early. Day 2: Still had our room to ourselves which was nice... we took a bus tour all around San Sebastian which was really cool... it took us to the top of Mt. Urguell which had INCREDIBLE views of the beach and the surrounding areas of San Sebastian. Then we went back, ate and took a ciesta ...

We had chosen to go to San Sebastian mainly because of an episode of Anthony Bordainīs cooking show where he reccomends it as the best place to eat in Spain. He spends the night trawling tappas bars and having a rollocking good time. And thatīs pretty much how our night went. Unfortunately for us, we were only going to enjoy one night, as there was not a single room to be had in San Sebastian.
