... It worked, as is feeling good. Take my word for it! Our trip into our destination was event free. The first station that we stopped at to check tomorrow's escape into Croatia was closed. On we went to the next station - open. In she goes to get the info required. Off to find accommodation for the night.

Checked out a few hotels and decided to find free wifi to go on line. Cost us three bottles of water with gas, but found a spot. Didn't ...

... lunch . Shortly before Tihany we stopped for petrol and parked in the garage forecourt was a small car manufactured during the communist period. It was a very block like car with a fibreglass body, nothing flash. However, they were loved by the people.

Tihany is a small village northern shore of Lake Balaton, the largest inland lake in Europe.

Lake Balaton was just what we needed- a beautiful, laid back, vacation spot for Central Europeans! It was so nice to come to a small town where there were little to no tourists, finally. We walked about a kilometre into the village and had an excellent meal. We made it back to the cabin just before the storm broke.
