At the end of the gorge we joined the road towards Cannes, which was route Napoleon, orginially created by him as a pass through the mountains...very windy. Our destination for the evening was Grasse where we found a good park overlooking the city lights and our first view of the Med.

... need/want me to be there. rar. and i couldnt get home because no buses were running due to the crazy floods...the fact that there even was school on a day when half the teacher and students couldn't get there...is another story and also belongs on my list of illogical frenchisms...

Back to the senses: France smells good and tastes good too! Le Marches (the markets) occur everyday where fresh flowers, bread, fruits, vegetable and fish are sold daily. This is the way of life here; no supermarkets or walmart, just good fresh food, purchased daily.

The food here in France could be the best... the flavors and savors or french cuisine, rival all of our other meals in all of the countries we visited. Fresh food ...

... the wonderful "fun" and "vitamin" radio stations to keep us entertained with "Evacuate the Dancefloor" and 3 other dance songs that they kept repeating.
