... we missed our connecting train from La Spezia so we waited for about an hour and I ate my pizza. You had to pay to use all the bathrooms, so we just had to wait it out until we got to our camping village. After the train ride to Pisa we got off and weren't sure where to go. It looked like we were in the middle of nowhere and there was graffiti everywhere. We got a little lost until a man from a hotel pointed us in the right direction. The whole way ...

Small colorful houses stacked on top of each other. A steep cobblestone road running right through the middle of the town (which actually used to be a river once upon a time) and heaps and heaps of stairs!!! After checking into my dorm and carrying my backpack up several flights of uneven stairs I met Elke ...

... Nina's sister. Anette and her boyfriend Jörg are really into road biking and she was drooling at how amazing the cycling is in Tuscany. If you ever had the idea of cycling in Europe, this definitely looks like the place to do it and the end of May is the perfect time. We knew that there was going to be a wedding at the Tenuta on our second last day there, but we didn't know that we would get to take ...
