    ... our room were full, with a mix of what seemed like Japanese patrons who spoke very fluent Italian and local folks from Verona.

    Well from everything we had read and now seen we decided Ikai was the real deal so we would order just the same as we would back home. We of course started with edamame, which were just like they always are. Then we tried the fried rock shrimp in yuzu sauce, which was delicious. Next we ordered fried rice with waygu beef and although ...

    Our last night in Italy (for now) we came down from the mountain ( not in his triumph) (or similar) and have spent our last 2 days on the shores of lake Garda at the beautiful hotel Gardenia Al Lago in the small town of Gargnano. Taking it relatively easy, relaxing in the peaceful garden beside the lake or on one of our 2 count then 2, balconies overlooking the lake! Took a short trip out this morning to drive (a challenging road) from lake side up through a fabulous gorge to the hill ...

The new builders were careful to bury the ...

    A travel blog entry by southernsun on Jun 09, 2015

    Stopped at St Lucia airfield, a lovely private grass airstrip, for fuel and to have a new set of brushes fitted to the propellor pitch control, by Luigi, the aero maintenance engineer on site. The job turned into a bigger one as the pitch control motor had actually died, so he arranged spare parts and we are fitting up together, but with afternoon weather building, this ...

    ... What a treat.

    Well after walking down a few more streets we decided one day in Verona would never be enough, so we inquired at the front desk of the hotel if they could put us up an extra night and sure enough they said they could, same room, same price. By this time I had stopped being surprised by Verona and was just grateful Mary talked me into coming here.

    Two more days in Verona to come. Stay tuned;
    Angelo and Mary.
