... Sul Garda at the 'right price'. In actual fact it was an apartment which meant that Les and myself would get a good nights sleep as Gilly was placed in the spare bedroom!
We spent the evening having a few beers at the hotel and local bars before retiring for a 'good nights' sleep - Les and mines first one in 7 nights!

Took a couple videos-pictures really couldn't capture it. Shows each location on the grounds after it was used/when empty. We got there and hung in the front lawn, then moved to the courtyard and back lawn for appetizers. They were carving prosciutto for us... I have found the perfect wine. More later. ... you dont get the same view odf the lake as you do on the east coast. The west cost seems to be more expensive too, with petrol being at least 10-15cents more a litre!
So, all in all, today was a better day, and I have a smile back on my face (although that may also be to do with the fact that I finally have a bottle of wine - for about 2euros!)
Tomorrow I hope to get to Verona.
