... skinny mountain road - looping, turning, twisting down. I almost get pretty impressed with my own driving until I come upon a giant tour bus on the way up. It's trying to make a sharp mountain turn, but it can't do it unless 5 cars and a motorcycle back up. I'm car number two. We all motion each other and back up. How do those bus drivers do it?

We continue our mountain twisting and turning until the scenery gets green again and we can see the brown chalets ...

... chairs by the bed and breakfast, hoping that he could've sat in one of those chairs.

It then started to rain a bit, so we walked down a ways to the gondola station, where we found another playground! It didn't have a spinny net thing, but it had a fun metal slide. Allison, Susannah, Dallin, Dad, and I all slid down the slide, then went into the gondola station, where we hopped onto a gondola back to Mürren.

... conversations were of course in Schweizer-deutch not high deutch and so this made it even more difficult. Fab is usually very good when we are with his family about translating bits for me so I don't feel left out but in this situation he couldn't realistically translate a conversation involving 11 people and so I found the whole evening boring. We arrived in Switzerland on Swiss National Day, so there were even more Swiss flags around than usual. We found a great camping ground down next to the river, I wanted to go for a swim but after putting my hand in the water, which felt like it had come straight from the Swiss alps (it had!) it was freezing, I changed my mind! Once we reached the top, we first enjoyed some traditional Swiss fondue for dinner. It was fantastic. Big bowl of hot cheese. Sounds weird, but it was like the Melting Pot times a billion. Then we were given some snow boots, little lights to put on our heads, and our sleds! The sleds were blue and narrow, with a toggle in the middle for steering.

After a short hike up to the very top of the sledding course, we all began kicking ...
