... Lido, home of the Venice Film Festival. As the waterbus stopped at every stop, it took almost an hour to get there from Rialto, but it was a nice break from the pedestrian and tourist laden Venice proper. ... fierce just able to move my way up and down the promenade… felt like I was in a movie. (Jaaaccckkk!!!!!)

I finally finished the packing and placed it outside our door then hopped into bed. The movement of the ship was 'stimulating' even though some of the crew said it was nothing compared to some they had been through. They said that if what we were going through was a 3 out of 10, they had been through a 7 out of 10 for 5 days non-stop in the Pacific ...

... us on a walking tour of Venice which ended in a Gondola ride. It was pretty cool. However the water really smells... haha
Went swimming at the campsite and it was a beautiful day!
We also went to a lace/linnen store/museum. It was all hand-made stuff, they told us the different methods and how long it takes to make a table cloth.. It was alright. They gave us a little gift for listening to them.. haha cool
