    ... must possibly be the only one in the whole pool and she found it !!! (Why was it there in the first place ?) Wow what a day - just staggered back from all day in the park and dropped into the town for a meal which comprised of more alcohol cost than food , including a lite of beer and a litre of wine !!!     ... was played which was mildly interesting until the lady got out her little laser pointer to indicate all the frescoes and we realised just what they were depicting. Definitely worth a quick visit if you are nearby and the roads to get here are even quite good!
    We arrived in Piran by 530pm which is a record for hotel arrival this trip.

    ... The water was so crystal clear and although extremely deep right from entry level it was very calm and felt very safe.

    Piran has beautiful little winding cobblestone streets that lead away from the sea to the main town square where all the local children come out to play soccer when the sun goes down. There were one or two touristy stores but for the most part just the sea, our one gorgeous hotel and a handful of delicious seafood restaurants. ...
