    Perfect choice for Venice

Camping Jolly is the perfect place to stay when visiting Venice. Excellent value for money, it has a modern shower and toilet block which is spotlessly clean, showers are nice and hot, there is a restaurant on site. In summer they run a shuttle service into Venice, but in winter it is no real hardship because it is a 10 minute walk down the road, onto a bus and 15 minutes to the nitric centre and cheap too. Buses run till very late also. Wifi is free and the fastest we have come across or uploading photos. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and speak excellent english. Totally recommend.

My cabana was clean and comfortable. It kept me warm enough at night as well. I would not recommend buying the breakfast to save 5 euros while you're there. They served cut up hot dog as sausage for breakfast. The service was helpful and overall nice.

The camping ground was awesome, I would probably rate it closer to a resort than a campground because of the great amenities. The pool area had a great atmosphere and the bar was lots of fun at night. The restaurant served us the best Italian food we experienced in all of Italy and at a very reasonable price. Only negative is the long lines at reception, you must allow time to check out in case you are in a rush to leave like I was.

Nice place to stay, has bar, restaurant, general shop, swimming pools and hot tubs. Bungalows were very clean and all the staff we're excellent! The one and only fault i have is the internet access, it's only comparable to going back in time 15 years!

Very lively, very cheap, the tents are nice and cool, all clean, good pool, good restaurant and ideal that there's a supermarket, laundry place, and bar/restaurant on site. Shuttle bus is a rip off, cheaper to take public bus from Via Paleocapa into Venice as its only €1.30 and takes you all the way to Piazzle Roma.

Hi When we got to, the campsite, which has wireless over the whole campside. Has a resteraunt, a pool, supposedly a gym. Heaps of Cabins & tents, a shuttle bus to the big city of Venice. Good, good place, could do with bumper cars to get from one place to another.

    Finally finding our way

This morning we ensured that we left plenty of time to get to the location of the free walking tour so we were up in good time and caught an earlier shuttle bus. We arrived into the bus stop in Venice at 9:15 and realised that we could catch the 'people mover' which would cut out a chunk of our walking distance and it was cheap so that's what we …

After a very early wake up this morning (5:15am, despite the fact that the alarm was set for 6:30am), I was a very grumpy egg! But I trooped on through, woke Emma at 6:30, and we were out the door and in the taxi by 7:30. It was then onto the first train to Villach station, for just under 2 hours before getting on the second train over to Venice. …

I'm not going to lie, Venice isn't my favourite place in the world. After a moderate start to the morning we caught the shutter bus from the hostel into the main bus stop in Venice. For those of you who don't know, there are no motorised vehicles allowed in Venice so the only way of getting about is by boat or walking. When we stepped off the …

    Dolomite Mountain Day Trip!

Today I had to get up at 5am to get picked up to go to the Dolomite Mountains for a day trip. The bus ride took 4 hours but we stopped in the village of Pieve di Cador. Then we got back on and stopped at lake Santa Caterina and Lake Misurina where we had lunch. After lunch a Tour guide met up with me and 5 others and the took us on the dolomite …
