... again today. In fact, above the tree line where it is very rugged, remote and isolated, and still there are cyclists!! They must have legs of steel! I hit my PB on tunnels today: 10 tunnels, 2 avalanche shelters. Some of the tunnels today, given the location are very basic. We awoke this morning in Gap to sunshine. It felt quite cool when I did my post-breakfast walk outside, so we all dressed for slightly chilly weather. Tom led us about a km down the street to get us started in the right direction, then he and Henry headed off to do today's alternate route which was completely different than the nominal one. The rest of us were delighted to have a relativel easy day of 67 km.
