The unique thing about spending the money here is to get a really good picture of main Venice and the islands that lie around it. A bit windy, but worth the trip up. ... of the Bollywood films are being produced--who would have known?? Other than that, they were great company, especially after they offered to exchange their Venice pastries for our 1 euro bag of bacon crackers…. The gentlemen said he preferred our artificially tasting snack over the Venice delight he offered us.. I am pretty sure we got the better end of that stick but we all won in the end as we both munched on our newly acquired items

... to the water-bus and before you know it we were bouncing over the waves (Pat having ingested the appropriate amount of Gravol) and on our way back to catch our bus back to the hotel. We jumped off the bus at one point to get some more free money from one of those friendly machines. Walking from our bus stop to the hotel we stopped for one of those tasty gelato ice creams.
