... theatre followed by songs of Elton John and Billy Joel played on the piano in the Pink bar... Sunday 23rd at 8am we pull into Maui port. Beautiful day, sunshine and 28 degrees. Roger finds the running machine in a very large gym. Breakfast late at 9.30am and then ashore to catch a shuttle to a shopping centre at the nearest town to the port, Kahului. After some queuing up and waiting around we caught a crowded local bus to an ...

Saturday was a travel day. We checked out of the Schooner a bit before 10 AM, and headed to the Maui tropical plantation. It was wonderful as usual. This morning we arrived in Maui and had a little coffee and fruit as we made our way into the harbor. Sunshine and 89* is the forecast for today and tomorrow. So much to do here on the ship so we may check out some of that as we are here and don't have any excursions planned. Look what arrived in our cabin while we were eating a leisurely breakfast in the dining room! Towel swan and our wine choices for the week. Taste of the island wine Ulupalakua Red.probably can't find that in ...

Today we conquered the road to hana

... halfway to Hana stand - seeing the local cave jumpers, climbing through lava tubes, and seeing the black sand beaches at Wai'anapanapa State Park - and of course making it all the way to HANA!!! This last item was accomplished just in time for us to turn around and make our dinner reservations at the famous Mama's Fish House. Dinner was great... But the setting is so incredibly beautiful. It was an awesome way to cap off another great day in ...
