Saturday was a travel day. We checked out of the Schooner a bit before 10 AM, and headed to the Maui tropical plantation. It was wonderful as usual. We saw a canoe club testing out their beautiful wood canoes in the plantation lake. The zip lines were running, though with only a single zip liner. We had lunch on a previously inaccessible Island in the middle of the lake. Then, we had to hustle to return a rental car and make it to the airport for our ...

During our shopping we would look across the water and see one of the islands then look back and it had disappeared behind a mist/cloud so it did not even appear to be there at all. We had big plans to watch a movie during the evening, but we were so exhausted that we both just ...

So much to do here on the ship so we may check out some of that as we are here and don't have any excursions planned. Look what arrived in our cabin while we were eating a leisurely breakfast in the dining room! Towel swan and our wine choices for the week. Taste of the island wine Ulupalakua Red.probably can't find that in ...

... On our map there are large areas all over the island which are shown as “U.S. Contiguous Zone”, and this is one of them. We never find out exactly what this means, despite a very extensive “google” of the term.

There are regular blue and white signs showing where beach access is available, but these never seem to correspond to a place to park, so when we see a large car park with 3-hour limit, we jump at it. We walk back to a park and ...
