... tide pools, wishing we had our suits and snorkel gear ready for action. We were on the road to Hana (over 600 hairpin curves and 56 single lane bridges) but turned off soon to get ourselves to Hai'ku. From there we hooked up with the Northshore zipline gang and Luke zipped through the canopy not once but seven times! Tired but still time for dinner again at Cool Cat's where our second coupon for root beer floats preceded our meal. A big day....and now aloha ...

Arrived at Kahului at 8:00 am. We are on an excursion to the Road to Hana. We boarded a bus and drove up the rugged coastline to lava cliffs and waterfalls. Its a spectacular road with a lot of curves and bumps. The road is so narrow we have to back up sometimes when we meet a car. The views are spectacular with all the lava flows, rain forests and desert areas. Our tour guide was Roy, because he looks like Roy Oberson. I will try to attach some pictures when I can get better ...
