... cutest children ever, and yes even i thought they were cute. As you all well know i despise babies so i hope you understand just how cute these 2 baby people were.
our story starts with a small black child shouting " blah blah blah blah black is blue- tiful". yes "blue" tifal. apparently his one phrase of english impressed small blonde child person enough to go over and befriend the bean. they even shared blocks. but alas when the train ...
... if she tries to sort all this out now we'll figure it out at noon when she has off. so i called her back and said it wasn't acceptable, i still had a class at 9:30 and i didn't know with whom or where, and made her look it up for me. I wasn't about to skip my first real day of work because someone didn't do her job! fyi she's also the lady who tried to force us into that dark smelly apartment that didn't have internet, and was in sketch town.
So i make ...
... blue/green shutter doors. i feel all french like whenever we open and close them.
so tomorrow is my first day of school for real. eek. little nervous, its a class of terminal and then the professional school. definite potential for them to be older than me. oh *****, i already look like im 12 haha.

Just paid a fleeting visit to St Tropez on the way to Avignon (so we thought)... had to be done really.. a quick wander around and a very quick coffee. It was much smaller than I thought. Lots of nice boats but loads of tourists too.... that was about it!
So we left St Tropez to head towards Avignon. I wanted to drive along the coast and we found a little road to take us there.. Little alright! It was about 11 or 17km of narrow winding steep roads. The worst part was the cars we occasionally ran into coming the other way and the big drop on the other side!
But it was all worth it. We found all these beautiful little beaches. We stopped at one and ...
We also took the short drive to Port Grimaud, to visit this small but new harbour town built in what was once marshland, but is now row after row of condos and homes built in a web of jetties to allow the homes to anchor their boats at their doorsteps. Of course, we would have rather spend our time on the beach, but with bad weather, Grimaud was a nice alternative.

... we arrived in France. After our gloriously relaxing morning, we went to the beach. :) Life is so hard, isn't it? :) Friday, the day was fairly normal nothing spectacular, but Friday evening we decided to hang out together!!!! With all of us in separate houses and aparrment buildings and none of us having phones...sometimes once we go home for dinner we are lost from each other. Friday we had a plan. :) We had a meeting place ...
Nice, France deuxmelissas... me of Palma de Mallorca, but much better. Not much action right now - probably gets busier at night. Walked through Jardin Albert I and Espace Messena. Former was much nicer, because the latter is undergoing renos. Saw this anatomically correct sculpture. Looks, it´s got a butt hole! Walked to Vieux Nice ...
Nice, France pwongThe first time I ventured to Nice more than a dozen years ago, I did not know what to expect. It was the start of the popularity of budget airlines, and I decided to follow the crowd with an Easyjet flight. First impressions were quite positive. It was warm considering that it was Easter time, and I did not expect that. There was a tropical feel everywhere; again a surprise, after all we were still in France. But it was the genial seaside atmosphere which suggested ultimate ...
