... Still living like big city people arriving everywhere two hours earlier than necessary Nice ride back in the Lochside Trail to Victoria. This time we were on the trail the whole time never getting lost. Again arrived in Victoria too soon to check in so went to the park and read some more. We have met such nice people along this trip. Everyone comparing notes of past biking trips, where they are headed now and suggestions for future trips. We have even noticed we have a ...

... this can vary by country and airline. So we could be in for some big additional costs. The budget airlines in Asia and Australia might have our number. Then I've got my Lululemon yoga knapsack. Oct. 1, Kosadasi (Ephesus) Turkey Although Rowland and I had been to Kusadasi 16 years ago, we had no memory of the harbour. Perhaps the docking area has changed. Somehow the town seemed more pleasant than in memory. In any event it was a fairly short bus ride (organized by the previously mentioned Amy) to Ephesus, the enormous city which has been excavated over a period of 10 years. First, a stop at the house of the Virgin Mary. Thiis, of course, is the land of the Bible. ...

... While she explained this to us, she totally forgot to ask if we brought anything back from the US and we could drive on pretty quickly. We kept this green card, so we can enter the US again before June 8th. We just need to make sure they get the card back before that, otherwise they still think we are there, and we can also do this at the airport before we fly home. How convenient, eh.
