... Rica. It's safe to say that I was relieved when  Dave thought better of a surf here given the breaks reputation for broken boards, skin and bones. We hired bikes and rode to some beaches outside of town however, only made it to the first beach before chilling the day away with James and George. ... for a toucan. In all those days in nature I haven't seen a single one, yet. Unbelievable. Well, at the end of the day we had seen lot's of howler and spider monkeys, one - if not the - most poisenous snakes on earth, beautiful blue crabs, a gigantic lizard, racoons, and not to speak of hundreds of spiders and moscitos and had eaten what must be the sweetest pineapple on earth. A wonderful last day in Costa Rica... even without the sighting of an Toucan. It was time to move ...

All in all, a great hike and after about 5.5hrs, Oscar sets out to find us a coconut and breaks out the machete so we can all drink the milk and eat the fresh, tasty coconut - I'm in heaven and Stevo might just be as well you know - I saw that sparkle in her eye with that first bite :) One thing though, my shoelace kept coming undone the last hour - why you hate me shoelace?!
