... big secret round with us now and Cara has finally been able to consult all her friends who have recently had babies for advice.




All in all we hugely enjoyed our time here. Sleeping in a bamboo cabin with the sound of the waves keeping us awake at high tide…sleeping under a mosquito net for the first time since I was ten years old…it’s all been perfectly wonderful. (except the diarrhoea!)

... voor de eerste maal, echt alleen op weg. Deze keer naar Puerto Lopez, een rustig vissersstadje, op een uurtje rijden, ten noorden van Montañita.
Om de eenzaamheid te verdrijven heb ik daar maar onmiddelijk een tripje naar Isla De La Plata geboekt voor de volgende dag. Bij het boeken hoorde ik helaas wel het slechte nieuws dat er wellicht geen walvissen te zien zouden zijn wegens te laat op het jaar...
