... feeling well and it was better I go to bed early. Yesterday I woke early to get in a wonderful yoga practice with only the sound of the rain hitting the tin roof above me and the street light seeping through the window. It was a blissful way to start my day. Again I found another tour that wouldn't take singles so I sat in the common area and read. Eventually someone else in the hostel woke, he had come in late the night before, and he sat across from me. We ...

A lengthy flight and huge 16 hour time difference really knocked the **** out of me for the first couple of days so I just relaxed and chilled out in the hostel. ... the valley is incredible. However, the wind is really strong and properly cold, so we stay at the top for a few minutes before descending – we do enjoy the summit as much as we can though, as we watch the gases pouring from the top of the volcano. Our descent involves multiple techniques – reverse traverses, direct drops down using the crampons, and the most fun ones – sliding down on our *****, and sledging down! The slopes are beautiful, but ...
