... the group had to stop which made me anxious because they had to stop because of me. Finally I just said to one of the guides that I was ready to call it in and not go any further. At first I couldn't help but feel ashamed, I'm a freaking yoga teacher, I'm in good shape... I do head stands and bend like a pretzel....but none of this applies to altitude and trekking. And I realized this issue has been something I have had forever, I've pretty much always hated running ...

... t as we were ushered into the chair lift before we could think. I had been debating hiking to save myself the extra 10 but probably would have regretted it 3 hours into the hike. We were in a group of 9 plus 3 guides. We stepped out into the snow in a line after a quick lesson on how to use the ice axe. We zig zagged up the steep snow, I started chatting to a couple of mothers both who were travelling round the world in a camper van with their families for one ...

Obviously I woke up on the bus. Felt pretty rested. Only woke up two or three times to stretch my neck. Think we arrived around 9ish. Which meant like half an hour after I woke up. When we arrived at this place we sat down and Guidi (our tour leader) went briefly through all the activities we could ...
