I am feeling a lot better today. Thank goodness. But the drive today began just the same as yesterday: straight as an arrow roads, no scenery to speak of. Phil cooked our steak on the grill at the 11th Street Grill restaurant the first evening. We visited with Dave/Linda (our co-campers) and Tim/Julie(next to us).
We had potluck supper the next evening in the rally hall.
Friday was the day to tour other campers, with lots of visiting. We went into town to look around and ate at OST. Phil helped put shocks on Dave's camper that evening.

Matt and Jo decided it was best to attack the Rock - so went straight up the side - hearts hammering, calves clamouring, salty sweat dripping down our faces we finally made it to the top and what a feeling! Phew! Visibility had improved by this time and we got some better shots which was great.

... Matt was wearing his cowboy outfit - Texan boots, jeans and check shirt! Miss Leigh seemed quite taken with Matt and said he was her new love and wanted to keep him on the ranch. She loved his personality and enthusiasm for everything - that's our Matt!
It was a beautiful day, blue skies with some sun - enough to get a touch of pink on the shoulders which was our first for a while!

Woke up, very hungover, to the sound of the breakfast bell. Had breakfast, said goodbye to Charlie and Kathi, then went back to bed for an hour. Woke up just in time for our 11am horse ride. It was a smaller group this time, and the ride in the fresh air completely sorted our hangovers!
