... host eventually let us in before we took off to see the city. We walked from our well-positioned flat along the river side, up to the walled Citdel (evidently the longest and steepest way!) for a view of the city, and to see the ancient castle structures and have a beer and wine in the Brasserie before dinner. Today we drove about 200km in the ****ing rain ... Both wet till the bone!! Luckily we found a small camping with rooms for rent. The room is actually very big, with a kitchen included. After everything was unpacked, I enjoyed a warm shower after having very cold the whole day long. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice meal in the local restaurant. It is now 21.15h but I guess I will not be awake for a long time anymore. Sleep ...
