... swimming in the water. I am in the hotel now updating my blog. They claim that Daytona Beach is the most famous in the world. It may be the most famous, but it has nothing on Australias beaches.
It was nice, however the sand was very hard. The water was very warm, probably as warm as an indoor pool.

After Savannah, our map was set to St. Augustine, a beach town which was just north from Daytona Beach. ... Park, South Carolina. A beautiful campsite on Lake Marion. The sites are under huge pine trees with picnic tables and fire places. As there is an abundance of fire wood lying around in the woods, I collected enough to last well into the night and made a huge fire to braai our 8 pieces of chicken.
