So we made it to Stockholm, and the sun is shining - yay!!We arrived here yesterday, after spending a couple of nights chilling out in Karlstad, half way between Oslo and Stockholm. ... such a great way to see the city and we enjoyed giving our legs the rest for the afternoon. After that we went and wandered along the mile long shopping strip. Turns out, it's a cooperative of 8 artists who make the pieces sold at 125, one of those high end galleries, and in their studio, they have stacks of pieces that have sight imperfections and therefore can't be sold at top prices. ... you see all the very large ornate buildings in the gold and colours in all the brochures but what we found was that these were only the churches. All the other buildings were no higher than 4 or 5 stories and they were all very bland brown and grey in colour with the odd pale blue or yellow thrown in which meant that they were owned by people with a little more money.
