We drove for several hours and then stopped for a quick break for some snacks, bathroom break, and to switch drivers. Now it was Mom's turn to get to drive some of the fun, winding mountain roads! We made it into Rocky ...

... does feel bigger in Texas. It takes us eight hours alone just to make it to the border of New Mexico. Driving through the sun parched stone valleys we snacked and talked, listened to music and the occasional bout of independent radio. The ride goes so much smoother with two people in the car. Before we knew it, the day faded from blue to a brilliant gold as the sun left behind color ...

Shannon and I have been so affected by the reality of not having our own space, our own place, our own "home". Since we have displaced ourselves from the physical form of these things, we have been embracing the spiritual realities. We have, because of all this, found home all over ...

I decided to get my hair cut short so it would be easier to maintain while we were traveling. I went with Chandler and had some girl time. We were so blessed to find a great salon that was reasonably priced - Mia and Maxx Hair Salon. The new manager cut my hair and we were able to talk about life and our trip. He was such a blessing. Thank you!

      until next time,
