... back to the hotel, I Skyped some, found dinner at Denny's, and spent some time on my blog.

Tomorrow I am headed to the Black Hills of South Dakota. I will be traveling I-90 and will cover another 700 plus miles. I hope to stop at the SPAM Museum in Austin, MN, the Jolly Green Giant Museum in Blue Earth, MN, and the Badlands National Park. Weather for the drive should be in the 60s and lots of sun.

... trail is a two-mile loop trail that starts at the Visitor Center. I decided I'd check it out. It leads by a number of burial mounds and a bear-shaped effigy mound and there is another bear-shaped mound not too far from the loop trail.

It's a nice forest with some good views of the Mississippi River Valley but I can't say I found the effigy mounds that interesting. They're only a couple feet high so they aren't ...
