... right by the side of the road, including one that you could drive behind. Others were a good hike away. All of them were beautiful and very different. Damien was able to wade out into some of the lakes at the bottom of the falls to get a good view and better shots. There were also a couple of falls that you could walk behind. We both had a really lovely day and the weather was mild enough to be comfortable.
We had a late lunch in the middle of all of this waterfall viewing ...

... are unique to this town. The town is very proud of its squirrels, even having an annual White Squirrel festival every May. There are signs and pictures of white squirrels all over town. Stories vary somewhat as to where they originate from and how they came to be in Brevard, but it was our mission to see one and take photos.
We settled in to our accommodation, which is a guest house style BnB with several rooms. ...

... we have with them. This trip was a sacrifice of time and resources, but in my opinion the investment had a better return than I ever expected. We have had two weeks to experience new things, have hours of genuine conversations, laugh, and enjoy each other. As we woke up the boys to go into the house Cameron thanked us for a great trip. To have a 13 year old thank you for a trip at 2am in a sleep walk shows it was good for them as well. Until the next adventure...The Phillips ...

All in all, the quest has been amazing, and I have enjoyed visiting every one of the 59 parks in what seems like a very short eleven years. ... to hit this easily accessible one. After a few minutes here, we crossed the creek and could already see the next waterfall - Waterfall in Wash Hollow. This was another long, sliding waterfall. The sun actually poked out from behind the clouds, about the only time we'd see the sun today, and made photography a bit more difficult. We spent a few minutes here, then started heading back.
