It’s not in a state or national park, so while at the long lunch, D had googled the coordinates for it (I had also written down rough directions in my pre-planning for the trip). We entered those to our GPS, and off we went. The Navigation said we’d be there at about 6pm. First problem we encountered was getting to the ...

Grandma and Mom dropped ******** at the last VBS. They picked me up and we went to the mall to get me new sneakers and Jack new flip-flops. We picked up Jack, and went home. We ate lunch and I went to the museum to carve more. I did so until the evening, when we went over to Rich and Twila's for supper with the family. Kyler was home from camp, and Leila was down from Washington. It was really nice to see everybody ...

I was a little nervous the route was not going to give me the four and a half miles I needed, so once around the Houck track for ...

Oregon was lovely. Really really lovely. We went so we could go and see some of the twilight filming locations. Because thats a cool thing to do! So the first night we got there ...

... up and changed clothes and off again--It is about 10 miles back to Stayton each time, and then the party is a few miles to the NE. So I arrived there around 6 and there were already at least 100 people and cars everywhere! I parked out in a hay field-bumpy-the van did not like it! And what a party! A live 4 man band - they were good, but too loud for much talking. Tables of food! Everyone brought lots- It was like a school reunion with a lot of town people thrown in. ...
