So I'm loving this entire glamourous camping thing.. If I can even call it that. Maybe resorting should be a better word for it! :) today was another GREAT day spent at wildwood and surroundings! :) after a late night last night, and the fact that were just in the loft area, I heard everyone as they woke up, made breakfast and left for work! :) but luckily enough I was tired enough to fall back to sleep and sleep till ...

Our trip begins tomorrow and we are so excited.  I walked to the grocery store today to pick up something to cook for dinner (since our fridge is now officially empty) and I ran into a few friends (and a wonderful aunt) who were just so excited for us and shared with me how special they feel this trip is and how they were looking forward to following us via the blog as we travel.  I smiled my whole walk home thinking ...

Well the suitcase is finally packed and for once, I have extra space! I am currently debating the practicality of bringing my life-sized Xena cut out across Europe. I mean, she traveled the lands in ancient times so why not now?

How does one prepare for a month long trip to 7 different countries when the most foreign place visited has been Detroit, MI? I don't have an adventuresome spirit. I like my comfortable couch, my cozy bed and the familiarness of the streets ...

Woke up at Beachwood in rain which followed us to Seattle and east through Snoqalmie pass. Once over the mountains we found sunshine and 85 degree weather. Stopped at the massive Tulalip shopping mall outside of Everett Washington to pick up a barbeque at the famous Cabella's outdoor store - must be 100,000 square feet of sporting goods. Moses Lake in Eastern Washington by 4pm. First day 300 miles. Quite pleased with the truck. Averaged 15.4 miles per US gallon. Trailer weight is 4800 ...

    Victorian Splendour

... to a restaurant I'd sussed on tripadvisor. Italian - sort of.. Again, the whole West Coast cuisine at its best. Everything has a wee twist. Cannelloni stuffed with squash, in a lightly curried sauce, with crab cakes on top! Just inspired. Mind you their plain food was wonderful too. Simon voted their spag bol the best ever. Add on top the friendly and attentive service, and the delicious local wine, we rolled into our taxi truly sated.
