... and tried some pancakes ( savoury and sweet ) which we shared. Picking up the car we headed back for Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. We had seen on the way through the Titanic museum so decided to go, very interesting two hours, we came out. CAR where had we put??? For a change we walked the car park, like everything in the U.S. It's big. We laughed and laughed. We had been told about a fire works display in Knoxville ...

... We got in great rides everyday even if we didn't get everything done we wanted too. Our rental house is great, the food was great (mostly) and the rides were great. The Cherohala Skyway was probably one of the most fun, the Dragon was intense, the Rattler was a bit less impressive than the hype, and the loop through the GSMNP was nice. Gatlinburg is definitely not a good city to visit on the bikes but everywhere else we stopped was good. The maps from America Rides Maps were top ...

Lots of Pictures- Get a feel for the road. I took I 77 west to the tunnel which crossed into West Virginia and took SR-598 to Bluefield where you see the first great vista. 598 hits 19 s to Tazweil where Rt. 16 starts, "The Back of the Dragon". Wow what a ride. I followed 16 to Rt. 58 at the Log Cabin Store in the pictures. Rt. 58 was a surprise because I was expecting rolling curves and country riding ...

... This implies that folks from the same family attended different churches. (Methodist, Baptist, and Baptist Missionary)

Another stop was to see a rustic cabin. We took Harley along on the walk but as we got just past the beginning of the trail we saw a sign that said no animals were allowed. I stayed there with Harley and Cheryl took the quarter mile hike to the cabin. While I was waiting, a family came by and the kids wanted to know if they ...

... Visitors Center. It was lunch time and the ride to and through Cades Cove is pretty long and we were not sure about food availability so we turned around and went to Gatlinburg. We rode down the main street and then settled on lunch at the Park Grill. We had the salad bar and split a burger. It wasn’t very good to me and a bit pricey for lunch but we were able to remain parked there so I included the ...
