        ... at the Lucky Moose here in Walker. The food was great and the bike is hopefully fixed for good. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, cold, and windy. Yeah! love the diversity of a good adventure. Marilyn is not happy...but she is going to be a trooper or maybe she will be calling a relative to pick her up. Stay tuned... and see if Marilyn makes it to Lake Bemidji State ...

        ... thought of getting on one sends me into a panic, but I did it! We clambered on board and gently set off into the middle of the lake. Only a few minutes into the trio we spotted the state bird, a loon, and a bald eagle! I even managed to drive the thing without a panic attack, proud day! The weather was great and a neighbour popped over to take us on a fishing trip. This boat wasn't so easy as it went a heck of a lot faster than the last but we did it, with the help of some beer ...

        ... fishing. We went over to Pike Bay and were able to catch about 8 fish to add to the 2 Tom & Dad had caught this morning. It was the coolest weather we had had yet on our whole trip, so we actually had to break out the sweatshirts.
