I met Jenny Broussard when I was in 2nd grade. Jenny's Mom was my 2nd grade teacher and her brother was a classmate. After getting to know the Broussard family my mom was asked to work at the Nursery/Day Care. Now the Broussard family is like family to us too.

The higher peaks to our south and west got a new coating of the white stuff. The high for this week was today's 65 degrees. Many days haven't been north of 55 degrees. The lows have ...

... of the real world came rushing back. When I realized that those were the only things going through my head I had to stop and remind myself why I had gone up to the mountain in the first place. Remind me what it teaches me ever time I go up there or out into nature. That is that there are somethings we can't control, like the bird pecking on a tree and there are things we just have to endure to survive, like the freezing nights and whether it is by your choice or by ...
