          ... up late chatting to old friends, a few too many drinks and a 2am finish. It was not easy to get up for the 8am school run, ops!           ... hopped on when we returned to camp and when they returned they were shouting all excitedly because they had seen 2 bears!!!!!! Not fair!!!! The bears in redwood are brown bears and not too dangerous, they get scared if you make noise, but when we go further north we will be in black bear territory and they are the dangerous ones! We just have to make sure all food is locked away for now, and no food in our tents or we could be visited by a fuzzy bear at night ...
