“Great stay”
Good facilities, great transport to the city, although is a fair way out of the city centre. Very expensive compared to other Big4 sites, book up because they get very busy!

“First night”
A great introduction to caravaning. We purchased our caravan from Traralgon Caravan Sales and Trent booked us in to this park overnight to work out how everything worked. The people at the park where very helpful and Trent came down to show us the finer points. Great start for the trip that starts 27th December

To our chagrin we discovered that most of the hike was from the car park around the hillside to the side of the Great Ocean Road, where you walked a few hundred meters …

Getting Closer to Melbourne
We visited Lakes Entrance on the way to Bairnsdale. This was a lovely place, but the two caravan parks weren't too crash hot. We continued on, and pulled into the park at Bairnsdale.
The town itself was just OK, but they had the best cycle track beside the river. We cycled from the caravan park to the river, and then cycled along the river for …
Grand Prix day out!
So, we were hurtling towards the end of our 5 weeks in the van, and for our last couple of nights before we dropped it off in Melbourne, we decided to stop in a camping site just outside the city so we could wash it and get everything sorted to hand it back, especially considering they can take $2500 off my card if it needs cleaning or owt! We put …
