Great spot! Excellent showers. Clean pools. The lads had a great time playing squash and we swam in both pools and enjoyed the spas. All safe for the children.

We were put right in front of the water splash park. It runs on a 5 minute timer but it has water guns, a big bucket that tips out 10 litres of water every minute.

The front, older part of the park provides lots of cool shade under palm and other trees. Checking service was good. There are a range of transport option available to different activities, such as Casino, Mindil market, etc. You can wash your vehicles at your site which was a must in my case

A lovely park with great staff, always willing to help. It is very busy but that is to be expected as it is the height of the tourist season and school holidays. The only problem is down the back of the park the ammenities block is made up of individual ensuite style toilet and showers which are lovely and clean and great to have a shower in however always full and a pain when you just want to go to the toilet. Lots of lush gardens and trees, the gumnuts falling on the van during the night is a bit noisy.

Nice and shady with 2 pools. Amenities reasonable. Not so good when it rains! 800m to village; ten minutes to Palmerston. Being south of the city (30km) you are already on your way to many attractions.

We booked into the Travelodge hotel to give us a little holiday from camper living. Spent some time in the pool but also went to the Warf, casino, Mindil Market/ beach, East point, Nightcliff, Aviation Museum, Charles Darwin NP.

As well at the National Parks, tourism brochures mainly focus on crocodile activities and WWII historic sites.

Jabiru to Darwin was about 260kms along the Arnhem Highway, another straight stretch of boring road. We booked into the caravan park at Howard Springs which is about 20kms from the Darwin CBD set up camp and then went and did the usual restock of food and grog. Unfortunately swimming is not permitted at these springs due to poor water quality and …
