Arrived here on Oct 1st 2009. Weather good the first few days then rain and cloudy. Went to a blue grass festival in Chattanooga. Went to the tn aquaurium.Leaving Wed. to head out WEST!!

Tomorrow we have to sit down and work out where we are going next. We had intended to head North East up the Blue Ridge Parkway, but with the weather so bad (more storms on the way, and snow coming down from the North) I think we are going to have to backtrack and head West towards the sunshine, so check back in a couple of days to find out where we are.

What a gorgeous day; sunny and warm, not a day to be inside.

This morning we visited Rock City at Lookout Mountain, which is actually in Georgia. These massive, ancient rock formations and gardens are truly amazing, and the views are breathtaking. The Fairyland Caverns and Mother Goose Village were enchanting, the nursery rhymes depicted reminding us of our childhood.
