The best ones were easiest to pick out in the surf where they were wet and constantly being churned. ... Bragg for our first takeaway meal of the trip - compulsory to have at least one McD's whilst here. Unsurprisingly it was much the same as in the UK although a couple of nice touches. Sharon and Julie drove the Avenue of the Giants and visited several key sights including Founders Grove. They drove Julie's Honda CRV through the Redwood tree after deciding that Sharon's Toyota Four Runner might be too large....The CRV just made it..... Check out all the pictures below.

... really pretty. They have a heap of bike trails around the park so we unhooked the bikes and went for an explore. First stop was the beach. And it was a sandy beach! Ahh it's been so long since I've felt sand between my toes, love it! An English sailing ship ran aground there in 1906 and the Peter Iredale wreck is still on the beach today although there's not too much of it left.
