A productive day at work, got lots of my jobs crossed off the list-hurrah! Yummy staff dinner from the No 14 kitchen of creamy mushroom pasta-sounds a bit dull? it really wasn't!

Journey to Interlaken
... Jungfrau. Jungfrau is the name of the biggest mountain that overlooks Interlaken. Oddly, the Victoria Jungfrau has a Hooters in front of it. The Rothorn and Schynige Platte
... train which was heading up to Schynige Platte. It used to be a steam cog railway but since there is so much demand they now use diesel engines. On special days in the summer they still use a steam engine. We sat on wooden seats and once again enjoyed amazing views on the way up. Flying in the Alps
... we were there so we went to check it out. Unfortunately, to Luke's disappointment especially, they appeared finished for the day. So, we continued on our walk further into the mountains for a 'Stechelberg Coffee'. This is basically a huge mug off coffee, half filled with Schnapps. We left the cafe, a little drunk, which made the walk back twice as long... We noticed some men on the cliff top above ...

Pleasant site location. convenient on route. Fairly quiet for high season. major disappointment: toilets and wash facilities not to the normal high Swiss standards.
