After a grueling five days of driving, it was time to find a nice campground and hang out for a few days. My plan was to stay at the state park on the beach near Destin. But the polar vortex spoiled things, so I found an RV park near Pensacola instead. The temperatures were in the 30's at night, and although it was only in the 50's during the day, at least it was sunny! And, there was a second hangar with more aircraft including helicopters, part of one of the space craft, the Presidential Helicopter of the Nixon years, Coast Guard, and the list goes on! It was a bit overwhelming. Definitely a guys place to spend several hours.
