D-Day Is Here
January 19th has arrived. Beth and I say goodbye to our frantic looking Pomeranians, Baby and Syd. They know this is not our usual 2 hours trip to the gym. Our suitcases give us away. We are leaving them. Baby acts as if she's ready to promise to behave for life…if we agree to stay.

... Museum where Andrew and Lachlan got their fill of jet fighters. Lots and lots of planes and helicopters. There was even an air force one helicopter used by Nixon. But the highlight for me was actually the plane used by Bush when they flew him out for the big Mission Accomplished press event after the gulf war "ended". So we will hang out here for a few more days and then start heading home and westwards. Woo hoo. Homeward ...
