... or something so of course it scared the **** out of us (the kids slept right thru it lol); there were cops flying down the street with sirens and lights too. It took about 10 minutes for it to die down and I think we were just too tired to try and figure out what was happening so we went to sleep. 6hes later at 4am Harlan decided he was well rested and that the rest of us were too. ... Bear in mind that some of the bigger specimens run to well over 200 feet in height and close to 100 feet in circumference!

Sadly, the main through route across the width of Yosemite NP and a few other high altitude roads were still closed due to snow or winter damaged surfaces but we were still grateful for being able to get in to the park and at least see Yosemite Valley up close, El Capitan, and of course the big trees at Mariposa Grove.

... park with lots or room for dogs to run. Roxie was enthralled with osprey that built their nests in the AT&T cell tower, as well as quail families living in the bushes right outside our coach. We love the Oregon Coast so much, we've decided to stay. Lance started a RV repair service and I found a charming chateau for us :) :) HA! We will be home in a few days.
